Business Method

You might have seen the ad about the 40/80 Method. In this review, I’ll go over truth about the company so that you can know if it’s a scam or not. So let’s get to it:

What is the 40/80 Method?

It’s a system created by one of the top affiliates in the home business industry. It’s used by Mack and his sub-affiliates to promote “his secret company”.

What is the Secret Company?

Just out of respect for the system and it’s affiliates, I’ll provide info about the company by who they are…not by name. The company has been around for over 3/4′s of a century. They promote benefits that are targeted mostly for people living in the United States and in Canada. While there are a few perks for people outside of those countries, the real benefits for international business builders (as well as those in the US and Canada) is the compensation structure.

What is the Compensation Structure of the 40/80 Method?

The compensation is offered by the company that the 40/80 Method promotes. The simple way to explain this is that the company pays out advanced commissions – $80 for every $40 sale. That’s a huge benefit since many companies require more volume to achieve those types of commissions and there aren’t any that I’ve seen that offer 200% commissions off a sale.

How About Residual Income?

The basic structure allows you to make $6 from sales that your direct affiliates (those that you sponsor). Above that, you can receive matrix overrides from upgraded membership plans. From my personal calculations, it makes sense to upgrade after having at least a dozen members.

Does the 40/80 Method Really Work?

The system is legit and it does work. It offers it’s members a way to promote the primary company using a proven system that Mack provides. Some people may question why even use it in the first place? The parent company has a marketing system and there are many free ones available.

Here’s my take: if you’re a heavy hitter in the industry, you can do well promoting the business on your own. If you’re promoting to your warm market only, then you can do well with the companies materials. However, if you’re just getting started, it helps using a marketing system that has some authority. Throughout the system, visitors get to see affiliates that are really making some serious money. This helps in the sales process. If you’re a nobody and you’re providing advice, that makes it tougher for you to get trust from strangers that you encounter …especially online.

The free systems that I’ve seen are setup pretty well. The problem is that they don’t offer much proven copywriting that Mack provides. He’s integrated a lot of proof elements that you won’t find in many of the free or cheap lead generation systems for the company. You can build a business using them through the process of plain relationship building – which works. However, relationship building + copywriting skills turbo charges the business building process. That’s what the 40/80 Method provides.
