The Cons
I have been a Beachbody Coach for almost two years now. I originally signed up because I was a fan of the products and I thought it would be a great way to get discounts on Shakeology and workout programs. I was also interested in the income potential. While I do think being a Beachbody Coach can be a great way to make some extra money, there are definitely some cons to the business.
You have to pay to become a coach
You have to pay $39.95 to become a Beachbody coach. However, this fee is quickly made back through the 25% discount that coaches receive on all Beachbody products.
You have to be active on social media
Nowadays, in order to be a successful blogger, you have to be active on social media. This means posting new content regularly and promoting your blog on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Depending on your niche, you may also need to be active on other platforms, such as Pinterest or Snapchat.
If you’re not a fan of social media, or if you simply don’t have the time to invest in promoting your blog, then blogging might not be the right option for you.
You have to sell products
Direct sales coffee companies require you to sell their coffee products in order to make a commission. You may have to buy the products first in order to sell them (at a discount), and if you can't sell them, then you're out of luck. In addition, many of these companies require you to sign up for a monthly quota in order to stay active as an independent distributor.
