When I first got started, I was told to build a prospect list and start inviting people to meetings.

That's the traditional method. If you're not part of the super lucky group (successful network marketers that never had to speak to people outside their warm market), then you'll need to start connecting with the cold market (the easy way). This means that you can build your warm market and not have to deal with face-to-face or over the phone rejection. You do this by generating leads, and here's how you do it.

I personally use GroovePages. This will allow you to easily create your own web page without knowing any HTML or how to code pages. The company also has an online training group that will teach you how to do this.

Constant communication in your MLM business

Using traditional network marketing systems, I would invite people to meetings. If they said no, I would follow-up with them multiple times in the future. My upline provided these special contact sheets that had checkboxes. Each time I called my prospect, I would just check one of the boxes on the form.

That's not what I do today.

While using GroovePages to collect leads, I use another marketing automation tool called Aweber.

This is an email marketing suite that does the follow-up and broadcasts. While you can send emails via Groove, I like Aweber way more as it has had many years of development.

If you've been reading about blogging, you might have run into something called WordPress. While I've used that software for over a decade, I don't anymore.

Yeah, it's one of the most popular blogging CMS's (content management systems), but it's also the one that gets hacked the most.

Besides getting hacked, so many newbies get so caught up in adding and playing with WordPress plugins. I've probably wasted well over several thousands of hours playing with plugins over the last decade.
