Is Level Thrive A Pyramid Scheme

What is Level Thrive?

Level Thrive is a multi-level marketing company that sells health and wellness products. The company has been accused of being a pyramid scheme by some, but it is a legal and legitimate business.

What are the products?

The product line includes a shake, a stick pack, a capsule, and a cream. The shake is meant to be used as a meal replacement or for snacks, and is available in chocolate and vanilla. The stick packs are used to mix with water for on-the-go energy and are available in three different flavors: mango pineapple, pomegranate acai berry, and wild blueberry. The capsule is taken morning and evening and is designed as a multivitamin. The cream is rubbed on the skin morning or evening as part of the Thrive Experience.
The Lifestyle Mix is composed of Arabica coffee beans, green coffee bean extract, protein blend (whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate), fiber blend (soluble fiber from tapioca, cellulose gum, xanthan gum), vitamins and minerals (vitamin C, vitamin E acetate, biotin, calcium carbonate, sodium chloride, chromium polynicotinate), enzymes (bromelain [pineapple], protease [frog skin]), natural flavorings (chocolate flavoring [cocoa beans], vanilla flavoring [vanilla beans]), salt, rebaudioside A (stevia leaf extract), sucralose.

What is the compensation plan?

The Level Thrive compensation plan pays affiliates to recruit new affiliates and sell weight loss and ‘wellness’ products.
Affiliates earn a commission when they sell products to retail customers and when they recruit new affiliates who do the same.
Recruitment commissions are paid out as a percentage of the new affiliate’s order value, and product commissions vary depending on which product package an affiliate sells.
Affiliates can also earn a monthly “lifestyle bonus” by maintaining active retail customers, as well as a “generational match bonus” on recruitment commissions earned by their personally recruited affiliates.

The Good

Level Thrive is a direct selling company that offers a series of health and wellness products. The company has been in business since 2014 and is based in Lehi, Utah. The company offers a variety of products, including a weight loss shake, a skin care cream, and a daily supplement.

The products actually work

The ingredients in the Thrive products are effective when it comes to weight loss, appetite suppression, and energy production. The formula contains a proprietary blend of ingredients that are clinically proven to work.
The company has many satisfied customers who have seen results from using the products. While there are some people who have not had success with the products, this is usually due to not following the directions or not using the products as part of a healthy lifestyle.

You can make money without recruiting

If you're thinking about joining a MLM, one of the first things you'll want to know is whether or not you can make money without recruiting. The simple answer is yes, but it's not always as easy as it sounds. Here's what you need to know about making money without recruiting in an MLM.
First, let's start with some definitions. An MLM, or multi-level marketing program, is a type of direct selling in which you earn commissions on your own sales and on the sales of the people you recruit into the program (your "downline"). In order to participate in an MLM, you typically have to pay a membership fee and purchase a starter kit of products to sell.
The key to making money without recruiting in an MLM is to find a company that has a good compensation plan and that sells products that you're interested in and passionate about. You'll also need to be willing to put in the work required to build a successful business.
One way to make money without recruiting in an MLM is to focus on selling the products. If you can find a way to sell enough product, you'll be able to earn a commission on your sales. This can be done by finding customers outside of the program (online or offline) or by focusing on selling high-quality products that people will want to buy.
Another way to make money without recruiting in an MLM is by building a team of downline members who are also successful at selling the products. As your team grows, you'll earn commissions on their sales as well. This can be done by finding people who are already interested in the products and convincing them to join your team. Once again, it will take some work on your part, but if you can build a large enough team, you can potentially make a lot of money without ever having to recruit anyone yourself.

The Bad

In September of 2014, the Federal Trade Commission shut down the multi-level marketing company Vemma, calling it an illegal pyramid scheme. Vemma was just the latest in a long line of MLMs accused of being pyramid schemes, and the scrutiny of MLMs has only intensified in recent years.

The products are expensive

The products are expensive, with a month’s worth of shakes, bars, and patches costing around $180. You also have to buy supplements to go along with the shakes, which can add another $60 to $90 to your monthly bill.

The compensation plan is complicated

The compensation plan is confusing and complicated. You can earn money in three ways: by retailing products, by recruiting others to do the same, and by earning overrides on the purchases and sales of your entire team (up to nine levels down).
The more people you recruit, and the more product they buy and sell, the more money you make. There are also bonuses for reaching certain levels in the organization, as well as Leadership Development Bonuses and Fast Start Bonuses.

The Bottom Line

You’ve probably heard of multi-level marketing companies like Mary Kay, Herbalife, and Amway. These companies recruit people to sell their products, and they often use pyramid structures to compensate their salespeople. But is Level Thrive a pyramid scheme?

Level Thrive is not a pyramid scheme

There are a few key things to look for when determining if a company is a pyramid scheme. First, does the company require you to purchase a minimum amount of product in order to participate in the business opportunity? Second, does the company have a system in place where you earn commissions for recruiting new members? And third, does the company have retail sales?
If a company meets all three of these criteria, then it is likely a pyramid scheme. However, if a company only has two of these criteria, it may still be a pyramid scheme. For example, if a company requires you to purchase a minimum amount of product but does not have retail sales, it is likely operating as a pyramid scheme.
Level Thrive does not require you to purchase any minimum amount of product and it also has a retail sales component, so it is not a pyramid scheme.

You can make money with Level Thrive, but it's not a get-rich-quick scheme

Level Thrive is a direct sales company that markets health and wellness products, including a weight loss shake and supplements. The company has been around since 2014, and while it's not a get-rich-quick scheme, you can make money by selling its products and recruiting other people to sell them too.
To make money with Level Thrive, you'll need to sign up as a distributor, which costs $100. You'll then earn a commission on any products you sell, as well as commissions on the sales of any distributors you recruit. The more people you recruit, the higher up the company's pyramid-like structure you'll move, and the more money you can potentially make.
However, it's important to keep in mind that while you can make good money with Level Thrive, it's not a quick or easy way to get rich. You'll need to put in time and effort to build up your customer base and team of distributors, and you may not see much (if any) profit for several months (or even years) down the road. So if you're looking for a get-rich-quick scheme, Level Thrive is not it. But if you're willing to work hard and build up a business over time, it could be a great way to make some extra income (or even eventually quit your day job).
