Shakeology vs Herbalife Which is the Better Option Herbalife shakeology

SEO Basics

SEO is the practice of optimizing a website for Google search with the goal of earning higher web traffic levels and improving the visibility of the site. The benefits of SEO are numerous, and it is an important part of any digital marketing strategy. However, SEO can be a complex and time-consuming process, and it is important to understand the basics before embarking on a campaign. In this article, we will compare two of the most popular SEO software options, Shakeology and Herbalife, and discuss the pros and cons of each.

Set up GSC and Bing Webmaster tools

Google Search Console (GSC) and Bing Webmaster Tools are two essential tools for any website that wants to rank in Google or Bing. By submitting your website to these platforms, you are telling Google and Bing that your website exists and that you want it to be indexed in their search engines. You can also use GSC and BingWT to see how your website is performing in terms of its search engine rankings, the keywords it is ranking for, the backlinks it has, and more.
To set up GSC, you will need to create a Google account and then add your website to GSC. Once you have done this, you will be able to access a wealth of data about your website’s performance in Google.
To set up BingWT, you will need to create a Bing account and then add your website. Once you have done this, you will be able to access data about your website’s performance in Bing, including its search engine ranking, backlinks, and more.

Set up Google Analytics

Setting up Google Analytics is a simple process that will give you valuable insights into your website traffic. To set up Google Analytics, you’ll need to create a Google account and then add the Google Analytics code to your website.
Once you’ve set up your account and added the code to your website, Google Analytics will start tracking your website traffic. You’ll be able to see how many people are visiting your website, where they’re coming from, what pages they’re looking at, and more.
Google Analytics is a valuable tool for understanding your website traffic and how people are using your site. If you’re not already using it, we recommend that you set it up today.

Install and configure an SEO plugin (wordpress)

There are a few things to keep in mind when installing and configuring an SEO plugin for WordPress. First, make sure that the plugin you choose is compatible with your version of WordPress. Second, be sure to read the instructions carefully before you begin. And third, be aware that some plugins may conflict with others, so it's always a good idea to test them out on a staging site before you implement them on your live site.
Once you've installed and activated the plugin, there are a few basic settings that you'll need to configure. First, you'll need to set your target keyword or phrase. This is the word or phrase that you want your site to rank for in the search engines. Be sure to choose a word or phrase that is relevant to your content and that you think people will actually search for.
Next, you'll need to configure your titles and meta descriptions. The title tag is what appears in the search engine results pages (SERPs) as the clickable link to your site. Themeta description is the brief description of your site that also appears in the SERPs beneath your title tag. Both of these should be clear and concise, and they should include your target keyword or phrase.
Finally, you'll need to set up your permalink structure. This is the way that your URLs will be organized on your site. The default WordPress permalink structure is not very friendly for SEO, so it's important to change it to something more search engine friendly. A good SEO permalink structure would be /%postname%/%category%/%post_id%. You can change this in the "Permalinks" settings page in WordPress.
That's it! Once you've configured these basic settings, you're ready to start optimizing your site for the search engines.

Keyword Research

If you are in the process of trying to decide which of these two products is the better option for you, then you will want to consider doing some research on the keywords that are associated with each one. This will help you to determine which product is more likely to be found by potential customers.

Identify your competitors

Before you can even begin to think about how to improve your ranking in the SERPs, you need to know who your main competitors are. Ideally, you should already have a solid idea of who these companies are, but if not, there are a few ways to find out.
One way is to simply do a Google search for your main keyword and see who shows up in the top results. Another way is to use a tool like Moz’s Keyword Explorer, which will not only show you who your competitors are, but also how difficult it will be to rank for your chosen keyword.
Once you have a good idea of who your main competitors are, it’s time to start analyzing their SEO strategies.

Conduct a keyword gap analysis

To find the best possible keywords for your website or blog, you'll want to conduct a keyword gap analysis. This will help you determine which keywords your competitors are ranking for that you are not, and vice versa. Here's how to do a keyword gap analysis:

  1. Choose your competitor. For the sake of this example, we'll use Herbalife.
  2. Enter your competitor's URL into a keyword research tool like Moz Keyword Explorer or Google Keyword Planner.
  3. Select "All" under the "Availability" filter. This will show you all the keywords that Herbalife is ranking for in organic search results.
  4. Export the list of keywords into a CSV file.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for your own website or blog.
  6. Compare the two lists of keywords side-by-side to see where the gaps are. These are the keywords that you should be targeting!

    Find your main 'money' keywords

Your 'money' keywords are the ones that are going to make you the most money - so you need to find them and target them!
There are a few ways to do this:

    • Use a keyword research tool like Google AdWords Keyword Planner or SEMrush. Just enter in some basic information about what you're selling and they'll give you a list of related keywords.
    • Look at your competitors. What keywords are they targeting? You can use a tool like SEMrush to spy on their advertising campaigns and see which keywords they're bidding on.
    • Use common sense. What words would people use to search for your product or service? Make a list of these and then run them through a keyword research tool to get more ideas.

Once you have your list of keywords, it's time to start targeting them!

Technical SEO

While some people might be satisfied with a generic protein shake, others are interested in a specific brand that provides more benefits. For instance, Shakeology is a meal replacement shake that contains a multitude of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.

Leverage "Inspect URL" feature in GSC

Use the "Inspect URL" feature in Google Search Console (GSC) to test a URL for indexation and common crawl errors.

Ensure your website is mobile-friendly

More and more internet traffic is coming from mobile devices, so it's important to make sure your website is designed for them. There are a few things you can do to make sure your website is mobile-friendly:

  • Use responsive design: This means that your website will automatically adjust to fit the screen size of the device it's being viewed on.
  • Use large, easy-to-read fonts: Mobile devices have small screens, so you want to make sure your text is large enough to be easily readable.
  • Use short, concise paragraphs: Again, because of the small screen size, you want to make sure your content is easy to digest. Short paragraphs are easier to read on a mobile device than long ones.
  • Optimize your images: Mobile devices have slower internet connections than desktop computers, so you want to make sure your images are as small as possible without sacrificing quality. You can do this by using an image compression tool.

Check your site's loading speed

A slow website can lose you visitors, and rank lower in search engines. Check your site's loading speed with Google's free PageSpeed Insights tool, and find out how you can improve.
It's important to have a fast website because:
-Users are more likely to abandon a slow site
-Search engines may rank slow sites lower
-A fast site makes for a better user experience

To improve your site's loading speed, you can:
-Optimize your images
-Minimize HTTP requests
-Enable compression
-Reduce redirects
-Cache static content

On-page and Content

There are a lot of things that go into a website including the design, layout, and most importantly, the content. The content on your website should be interesting, informative, and keyword-rich. However, sometimes it can be difficult to come up with fresh ideas for your website. That's where autoblogging comes in.

Fix duplicate, missing, and truncated title tags

Your title tag is one of the most important on-page SEO factors. It tells search engines what your page is about and helps them decide whether to display your page in the search results.
Here are some tips to help you create better title tags:

  • Make sure your title tags are unique and descriptive. Avoid using the same title tag for multiple pages on your website.
  • Use keyword-rich titles that accurately describe the content on your page.
  • Keep your titles short and to the point. Aim for 50-60 characters, including spaces.
  • Use capital letters sparingly, as too many can make your titles difficult to read.

Find and fix duplicate or missing meta descriptions

If you're using a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal, you may be able to find and fix duplicate or missing meta descriptions using a plugin. For example, the SEOpressor plugin for WordPress can automatically generate meta descriptions for you based on your content.
If you're not using a CMS, or if you're unable to use a plugin, you'll need to edit your HTML code directly to fix duplicate or missing meta descriptions. To do this:

  1. Find the page on your website that is missing a meta description.
  2. In the code for that page, find the section where the tag is located.
  3. Within the tag, look for the tag that contains the "description" property.
  4. If there is no tag with the "description" property, add one between the and tags, like this:
  5. If there is already a tag with the "description" property, edit it so that it contains your desired meta description.
  6. Save your changes and upload the edited file to your server.

Find and fix multiple H1 tags

Your H1 tag is the most important on-page SEO element (regardless of what anyone else says).
An H1 tag is like the title of a book, and should be used to summarize the main point of the page. They are usually featured at the top of a page, like this:
As you can see, our H1 tag is "Herbalife shakeology." This is the main point of our page, so it's a good choice for an H1 tag.
If you have more than one H1 tag on a page (this is called "multiple H1 tags"), it confuses both search engines and users, and can hurt your SEO.
Here's an example of a page with multiple H1 tags:
In this example, the first two H1 tags ("Shakeology" and "Herbalife") are fine. But the third one ("Which is the better option?") is not necessary, and just adds confusion.
If you have multiple H1 tags on your page, don't worry - it's easy to fix. Just choose one main keyword or phrase for your page, and make that your only H1 tag.

    Off-Page SEO

Off-page SEO is the process of optimizing a website for higher rankings in the search engine results pages (SERP). It is a technique used by webmasters and digital marketing professionals to improve the visibility and organic search results of their websites.

    Analyze your competitor's link profile

As you build your own link profile, it's important to keep an eye on your competitors. After all, they may be trying to do the same thing to you! Try using a tool like Moz's Open Site Explorer to get a sense of their link profile and what kinds of links they're trying to get.

    Conduct a link intersect analysis

A link intersect analysis is a process of finding intersections between two or more data sets in order to find commonalities or patterns. In the SEO world, a link intersect analysis can be used to find commonalities between websites that are linking to your competitors, but not to you. This can be a helpful way to identify potential link building opportunities.
To conduct a link intersect analysis, you will need to export the links pointing to your competitor's website from a backlink tool like ahrefs, majestic, or Moz. Once you have the list of links, you will need to intersect it with your own list of links using a tool like Excel or Google Sheets. The result will be a list of websites that are linking to your competitor, but not to you.
Once you have the list of potential link building opportunities, you can reach out to the website owners and ask them to consider adding a link to your website as well.

    Target your competitors' broken backlinks

As part of your SEO strategy, you should be looking for opportunities to target your competitor's broken backlinks.
A broken backlink is a link to a page that no longer exists. When someone clicks on a broken link, they'll see a 404 error page.
There are a few ways to find competitor's broken backlinks:

    • Use a tool like Ahrefs or Majestic to analyze your competitor's backlink profile.
    • Google your competitor's website and look for 404 error pages in the search results.
    • Check your competitor's website for any obvious signs of broken links, such as links that lead to pages with 404 errors.

Once you've found some competitor's broken backlinks, you can try to reclaim them for your own site. There are a few ways to do this:

  • Reach out to the webmaster and ask them to update the link to point to your site.
  • Create a new piece of content on your site that is similar to the content that was on the old page, and then reach out to the webmaster and ask them to update the link.
  • 301 redirect the old page to the new page on your site.
